59th Annual Meeting Call for Abstracts

The Program Co-Chairs solicited abstracts for both oral and poster presentation. Abstracts reported on basic nuclear medicine science, research, clinical investigation, educational innovations, interesting case reports or educational innovations. Selections were be based on subject originality, study design, and scientific relevance to medical knowledge. The reporting of appropriate data and conclusions in the abstract is critical to the selection process. Participation by residents, fellows, practitioners, and technologists was strongly encouraged. The Educational Committee offered the following awards:

• $250 for the best abstract submitted by a trainee - Sania Rahim, MD (recipient)
• $150 for the best oral abstract presenter - Niraj Patel, MD
• $75 for the runner-up to best presenter - Jason Wachsmann, MD

The deadline for submitting abstracts was Friday, January 10, 2014! Abstracts received by this date and accepted by reviewers will be published in an issue of the Clinical Nuclear Medicine journal.
