Please tell us about yourself.
I was born and raised in Austin, Tx and am a fithe generation Austinite. I enjoy time with my wife and two kids and am a big music enthousiast with over 2000 vinyl records. I love live music and live sporting events.
Give us your background information related to your professional training, including nuclear medicine, and what inspired you to enter this field.
I did undergraduate school at UT Austin and got a degree in chemistry then went to UT Houston for medical school. I completed internship and radiology at Baylor University medical center in Dallas. Afterwards, I did a fellowship in Nuclear at the joint program in Boston, MA
What do you consider your primary contribution(s) to Nuclear Medicine?
I have contributed to nuclear medicine in several areas including education while I was at UTSW as well as several educational positions with SWCSNMMI including prior program director. I was also a trustee for the chapter for several years, before becoming the president.
In what year were you a SWC-SNMMI President, and how did you first become involved with the chapter?
Was the Southwest SNMMI President 2021 to 2022.
