Before the Annual Meeting or Demo
NOTE: We sent an email today (April 6) and will AGain on Thurs, April 7. This email provides the URL to the meeting.
1. CREATE A REMO ACCOUNT
Using the email that you used to register, create a Remo account before the event. This allows you to immediately enter the event when it starts. Your Remo profile acts as a "digital business card" and completing your profile will optimize your networking experience.
2. CHECK YOUR COMPUTER AND NETWORK CAPABILITIES
a) It is better to resolve any issues before the meeting starts. To get the full experience of connecting with others, we recommend using a computer with a camera and microphone. Remo is NOT compatible with tablets and has limited capabilities on smartphones.
b) We highly recommend using headphones (preferably ones with a built-in microphone) before the meeting. This will greatly reduce echos and background noise.
c) It is important to make sure that your computer and your wifi network are compatible with Remo.

Here are some possible reasons your system check could fail:
You may need to update your browser
Your computer's operating system may not be supported
Firefox is NOT supported
Your institution may have a firewall that blocks the use of Remo, or some of Remo's features. This is the most common issue.
Please check your browser settings: Allow Remo access to pop-ups, notifications, microphone, and webcam
Also, pause or disable any ad blockers
During the Meeting
FOR THE BEST EXPERIENCE, WE RECOMMEND FOLLOWING THESE STEPS:
Use headphones to reduce echoes and background noise (headphones with a microphone work best)
Close all other video applications, as well as memory-intensive programs (especially in Windows 10)
Close other windows and tabs in your browser
TO BEST NAVIGATE THE NETWORKING EXPERIENCE, WE RECOMMEND THESE TIPS:
Turn your microphone and camera on!
Zoom out!
Use your mouse to zoom out to get the best view of the floor plan
Move around!
Double-click different tables to join your peers or corporate partners
You can navigate between floors using the elevator dial on the left side of your screen
